Paramasivan is a 2006 Tamil Action and Thriller film released in cinemas on 14 January 2006. .
Subramaniyam Siva is in jail and is waiting for his death sentence. He killed corrupt police officers who were responsible for the death of his father, SI Ganapathy and his sister. SP Nandakumar is an honest and fearless police officer who is on a mission to find the terrorist group behind the Coimbatore blasts. He decides to use a different method and takes Siva’s help. He changes Siva’s name to Paramasivan, cuts his long hair, and gives him one clear task to find and eliminate the people behind the blasts. Paramasivan is unaware that Nandakumar plans to kill him after the mission.
